Academy

Our Academy creates a professional environment that stimulates and challenges talented young players to maximize their potential as footballers.

Academy players are selected from our Red Class or invited to join after a successful trial period.
We compete in the following leagues:

  1. Camden & Islington Youth League. (Sep-May)
  2. Regents Park Youth League. (Sep-Mar)
  3. Arsenal in the Community Mini League. (Apr-Jul)

Junior Academy Training (U8-11)

  • Thursday evenings at Highbury Grove school (5-7pm)
  • Saturday mornings at Highbury Fields (9:15-11am)

Youth Academy Training (U12-16)

  • Saturday mornings at Highbury Fields (9:15-11am)
  • Sunday afternoons at Stoke Newington school (2-4pm)

Academy sessions run throughout the school year from September to July.
We presently have three former players at Professional clubs.

  1. Sean Clare (Leyton Orient)
  2. Daniel Barden (Norwich City)
  3. Sonny Perkins (Leeds Utd on loan at Leyton Orient)

    • Raise standards at the grassroots level in relation to the coaching, playing and watching of children’s football.
